These tours we run as scheduled tours where you can join and come along. Please see schedule below. We can however also do them for a private group outside the scheduled tours

Our scheduled tours are quite exclusive in that we only take 4 vehicles or 10 guests on our tour. Most of our tours we have a couple to each vehicle, so the nr of guests is then only 8

Day 1: Johannesburg to Moreti Bush Camp

Distance: ~400 km

Highlights: Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Johannesburg to Moreti Bush Camp. This camp, nestled in the bushveld, offers a tranquil setting to unwind and prepare for the journey ahead. Enjoy the sounds of nature, a star-filled sky, and the opportunity to spot wildlife such as antelope and birds. The camp provides a perfect introduction to the wilderness experience that awaits.

Day 2: Moreti Bush Camp to Khama Rhino Sanctuary

Distance: ~180 km

Highlights: Travel to Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana, a haven for rhinos and other wildlife. Participate in a guided safari to see these majestic creatures up close. The sanctuary also offers birdwatching and beautiful sunset views over the savannah. It’s a great place to learn about conservation efforts and the importance of protecting endangered species.

Day 2: Moreti Bush Camp to Khama Rhino Sanctuary

Distance: ~180 km

Highlights: Travel to Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana, a haven for rhinos and other wildlife. Participate in a guided safari to see these majestic creatures up close. Day 3: Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Kubu Island

Distance: ~200 km

Highlights: Head to Kubu Island, a mystical granite outcrop in the Makgadikgadi Pan. The island is known for its ancient baobab trees and surreal landscapes, perfect for photography and exploration. The stark beauty of the salt pans and the island’s unique geology make it a memorable stop on your journey.

Day 4: Kubu Island to Maun

Distance: ~250 km

Highlights: Drive to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Explore the town, stock up on supplies, and perhaps take a scenic flight over the delta for a bird’s-eye view of this unique ecosystem. Maun offers a mix of modern amenities and traditional culture, making it an interesting place to explore.

Day 5: Maun to Kazikini Campsite

Distance: ~50 km

Highlights: A short drive to Kazikini Campsite, located on the edge of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and prepare for your delta adventures. The campsite offers basic amenities and a true wilderness experience, with opportunities for birdwatching and nature walks.

Day 6: Kazikini Campsite to Khwai Safari Grounds

Distance: ~100 km

Highlights: Travel to Khwai Safari Grounds, known for its abundant wildlife and scenic beauty. Set up camp and enjoy game drives, where you might spot elephants, lions, and hippos in their natural habitat. The Khwai area is renowned for its diverse ecosystems and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

Day 7: Khwai Safari Grounds

Highlights: Spend the day exploring Khwai. The area is rich in wildlife, offering excellent game viewing opportunities. Enjoy guided self-drive adventures, and relax by the campfire in the evening. The Khwai River attracts a variety of animals, making it a prime location for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 8: Khwai Safari Grounds to Savuti Campsite via Marsh Road

Distance: ~150 km

Highlights: Journey to Savuti Campsite via the Marsh Road. Savuti is famous for its predators and large herds of elephants. The rugged terrain and diverse wildlife make for an exciting day of exploration. The Savuti Channel, known for its unpredictable flow, adds to the area’s unique charm.

Day 9: Savuti Campsite to Thobolos Bush Camp

Distance: ~100 km

Highlights: Drive to Thobolos Bush Camp, a remote and tranquil spot perfect for relaxation. Enjoy the solitude and the chance to see wildlife in a less crowded setting. The camp’s location offers a true wilderness experience, with opportunities to spot wildlife around the waterhole.

Day 10: Thobolos Bush Camp to Ihaha Campsite

Distance: ~120 km

Highlights: Head to Ihaha Campsite in Chobe National Park. Located along the Chobe River, this campsite offers stunning views and excellent wildlife viewing, especially elephants and hippos. The riverfront setting provides a picturesque backdrop for your camping experience.

Day 11: Ihaha Campsite to Chobe Safari Lodge Campsite

Distance: ~50 km

Highlights: A short drive to Chobe Safari Lodge Campsite. Enjoy the lodge’s amenities and take a sunset cruise on the Chobe River, where you can see a variety of wildlife and beautiful landscapes. The lodge offers a blend of comfort and adventure, making it a great place to relax and explore.

Day 12: Chobe Safari Lodge Campsite to Senyati Safari Camp (Victoria Falls Day Trip)

Distance: ~70 km

Highlights: Travel to Senyati Safari Camp and take a day trip to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Experience the awe-inspiring falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and return to Senyati for a night of relaxation and wildlife viewing at the camp’s waterhole. The falls offer a range of activities, from guided tours to helicopter flights.

Day 13: Senyati Safari Camp to Elephant Sands

Distance: ~150 km

Highlights: Drive to Elephant Sands, a unique campsite where elephants roam freely. Enjoy close encounters with these gentle giants as they visit the waterhole near the camp. The camp’s setting provides a rare opportunity to observe elephants up close in their natural habitat.

Day 14: Elephant Sands to Moreti Bush Camp

Distance: ~550 km

Highlights: Return to Moremi Bush Camp for your final night in the bush. Reflect on your journey and enjoy the peaceful surroundings one last time. The camp offers a serene environment to unwind and reminisce about your adventure.

Day 15: Moremi Bush Camp to Johannesburg

Distance: ~400 km

Highlights: Drive back to Johannesburg, concluding your adventure with memories of incredible landscapes and wildlife encounters. The journey back offers a chance to reflect on the diverse experiences and stunning scenery you’ve enjoyed over the past two weeks.
